We're Back. -Pascaline.

Warmest greetings. I am Pascaline. I understand that a majority have been supportive and understanding of Talmai in these troubled times. Originally I did not intend on posting, but then other than proxies, nobody intended on what just happened.

We captured a proxiette that was trying to attack a boy of the school, Cian. The proxiette refused to talk. So we got her to post beforehand, the girl, "Araminta" – well, why on earth do I call her the girl? She was older than I, in her forties perhaps – yet, there was something intangibly childlike about her... no, that is not what I mean to say. There was an air of eternal neglect, as per a forsaken castle with vandalised chambers. Something feral, something untouched.

For the benefit of myself, Matvei and Talmai I shall now describe her - I warn you that if you are about to dine, you may find this unsettling to the stomach.

She wore a lacy Victorian dress that looked as if she had not taken it off since perhaps the age of twelve, for there were many splits and scars that made her seem as if her body had to grow around the material. This was indeed the case on the left shoulder and the left hip – some of the straps and ribbons had embedded themselves in and under her skin, many infected, purulent, bleeding. She had, it seemed, made an attempted to heal some by a whitish substance resembling powder.

The dress seems as if it would have once been white as well, although it is horribly stained with blood, dirt, food and pus. Hair is blonde, but greying, and in terribly matted plaits. Eyes blue, beautiful baby blue, but with terrible case of icteric sclera and rather bloodshot. Rotting teeth. I think that covers it.

We can't be certain what is going on inside her mind. We'll get to you when we work it out.

Kind regards,

Pascaline

  1. Betting on what's going to happen to her. Anyone interested? 'Cause it'll break up the Monotony of this research. My (metaphorical) money's on her ending up hallowed.

    1. I weep bitter tears for that dress, which dies a little each day so that other dresses may live.
